|Company/Institution: NEC Labs America|
|Location: Cupertino, CA|
Description: The Media Analytics Department is offering internships in computer vision and machine learning for summer 2016. The Media Analytics group provides a vibrant research environment that produces strong research results. In recent years, we have won the Best Paper Award at CVPR, while our monocular SFM, object detection and tracking approaches are among the top performers on the KITTI benchmark.
Our research focuses on two major directions: large-scale image recognition and 3D reconstruction - with applications like image search on mobile platforms, and face recognition and 3D scene understanding for autonomous driving. If you are interested in large-scale image classification, deep learning, object detection, tracking, semantic segmentation, 3D reconstruction or scene understanding, then an internship at NEC Labs is an ideal avenue for high-impact research.
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, our internship program offers a dynamic environment and competitive pay. If you are as excited as we are about the rapid advance of computer vision technologies, join us for a fun summer 2016!
