Description: Computer Vision (Job Number: P15INT-01) Honda Research Institute USA (HRI-US) has an internship opening for Summer 2016. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated student with a good publication record and excellent analytical and programming skills to join our team! The computer Vision (CV) team is looking for an intern to work on scene understanding for autonomous vehicles. Knowledge in computer vision, specifically in object detection/recognition/tracking and deep learning are a plus. Requirements: - Ph.D. student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field. - Strong and broad knowledge in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Vehicle Dynamics and/or Signal Processing. - Strong problem solving skills. - Excellent programming skills in C++, Python or Matlab. About the Internship HRI-US internship program is designed to give students hands-on experience in developing new research ideas. Each intern works with HRI-US researchers and is expected to generate prototypes and scientific publications as a result of the internship. The time frame for these positions may be adjusted to accommodate the intern's academic schedule.
