| Title: Assistant/Associate professor in Computer Graphics, UCL, UK | Posted: January 19, 2015 | Company/Institution: UCL | Location: United Kingdom | Department: Computer Science | Description: Deadline: Closing soon! Officially it's 31 Jan 2015 - so please get at least your materials in.
We are looking for world-class research talent to join the Computer Graphics (VECG) group in the
Department of Computer Science at UCL. Members of the VECG Group work in the broad area of virtual
environments, in particular real-time global illumination, image-based rendering, geometry
processing, 3D interaction, sensor fusion, real-time systems, haptics and augmented reality. The
group conducts fundamental graphics algorithms and systems research, but also underpins this with
user studies to evaluate the impact that technological developments have.
Information on the VECG Group can be found at http://vecg.cs.ucl.ac.uk.
With this post, we are seeking to complement the existing research of the group. We will accept
applications across the broad range of virtual environments and computer graphics, but would
particularly encourage those interested in 3D user interfaces, virtual reality and computational
design. | Application Instructions: Questions about this vacancy may be directed to Prof. Anthony Steed (Head of Virtual Environments and
Computer Graphics research group, a.steed@ucl.ac.uk) or Prof. John Shawe-Taylor (Head of Department,
j.shawe-taylor@ucl.ac.uk).
