Description: Candidates will contribute their expertise by developing robust solutions for real-world data and actively working with industry and government agencies on a variety of vision-based projects. Projects include areas of video event and activity recognition, moving object detection and tracking, motion pattern learning and anomaly detection, functional object recognition, video compression, 3D reconstruction and other areas. Our efforts are sponsored by premier government R&D sponsors such as DARPA and AFRL, and include prime contracts as well as SBIRs and STTRs.
This is an opportunity for PhD-level candidates to contribute their previously demonstrated creativity and research experience in solving hard problems using realistic video and imagery. A strong publication record in major vision conferences is expected.
