The Computer Vision and Sensing Systems Laboratory at University of Windsor is an organized research unit founded in 2006 that serves as a focus for quality research in computer vision, image recognition, machine learning, and intelligent systems. We have several openings for both postdoctoral research position and doctoral position.
For postdoctoral research position, successful candidates should have a recent PhD degree in CS or EE, with strong background and research experience in one or two areas of computer vision, pattern recognition, image processing, machine leaning, and visual sensor networks. A strong track record in research with publications in top journals and conferences is a definite plus. The position is available for one year in the first instance, and may be renewed for longer periods. The salary for this position is competitive and the starting date is flexible.
For doctoral position, I am looking for several enthusiastic, creative, and hard-working graduate students with strong background in mathematics and programming. Some experience in one or two areas of computer vision, pattern recognition, image processing, machine leaning, FPGA design and programming, and visual sensor networks would be a plus. Successful candidates should meet the admission requirements of the university, and make application through the university http://uwindsor.ca/admissions. You will receive full funding support after admitted.
Interested candidates for both positions please contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org , including your CV, a summary of research experience and statements, and the name and contact information of three references.
