Description: Athena Eyes is an innovative enterprise focusing on computer vision research and application. We devote to apply computer vision technology and internet technology to various industries, build a new Smart city, and provide leading technologies and product services for every industry and every person on various fields, such as biometrics recognition, image recognition, intelligent surveillance, and deep learning.
Lead a team to design, develop, and deploy the customized applications for Athena Eyes’ products.
¥ Lead and conduct advanced research and engineering on visual computing technologies and systems. Manage new product development process such as architecting, designing, developing, optimizing, and testing client/server and applications
¥ Together with an international team of experts, drive the design and implementation of innovative solutions that improve user experience of next generation Athena Eyes’ products such as biometrics recognition systems, security systems, smart city and building solutions, etc.
¥ Provide technical assistance to other internal departments regarding the use and problem resolution of applications and recommend strategies for improvement and/or reengineering of those applications
¥ Actively promote ideas from visual computing research to product development to enable future Athena Eyes’ business.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
¥ Ph.D. with 3+ years’ experience or M.S. with 5+ year’s experience, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
¥ 1+ year’s experience in leadership role of product development.
¥ 3+ years of development and prototyping experience in large, high-quality software systems, especially real-time computer vision and graphics systems.
¥ Excellent C/C++, matlab programming skills, proficient with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python) and visual computing related libraries (e.g., OpenCV, OpenGL).
¥ Passion for quality products, software development principles and best practices.
¥ Strong research and problem solving skills.
¥ Up to date with the latest findings and trends in computer.
¥ Excellent communication, teamwork and technical writing skills.
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
¥ Demonstrated success in computer vision or product development.
¥ Demonstrated success in any leadership role of product development.
¥ Excellent publication record in leading visual computing venues (e.g., ICCV, CVPR, ISMAR, VR, SIGGRAPH).
