| Title: PhD position on Medical Image Computing | Posted: August 22, 2017 | Company/Institution: University of Bern, Switzerland | Location: Bern, Switzerland | Department: Institute for Surgical Technology and Biomechanics | Description: The Information Processing in Medical Interventions Group at the Institute for Surgical Technology and Biomechanics, University of Bern is looking for a highly motivated PhD student to develop cutting edge machine learning and medical image analysis algorithms for musculoskeletal imaging, with a focus on development automatic segmentation and computer aided diagnosis methods. The position is available from October 1st, 2017. The PhD student will be part of a team consisting of a PostDoc, the principal investigator (PI) and four other PhD students.
