Personalized simulations in cardiology play key important roles in cardiac inter-ventions. Thus, a tight integration between numerical simulations and cardiac image analysis is foreseen. Funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, we have an open PhD study position for research on deep learning-based seg-mentation and computer aided diagnosis of cardiac MR images.
Requirements:
We are look for a creative and enthusiastic researcher with a Master degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering or related fields, with expertise in machine learning and deep learning. Good communication skills and expertise in software development, preferably in Python/C++, are essential. Being familiar with one of the existing deep learning frameworks such as Caffee, Ten-sorflow or PyTorch will be preferred.
Conditions of employment:
