Toshiba Research Europe is looking for a researcher to join its Computer Vision
Required: You have a PhD in computer vision, machine learning or a related area, a
solid theoretical background and a strong international publication record. You are
able to try out and implement new ideas and you are a proficient programmer. Postdoc
or industrial experience is also welcome.
Position: The opening is for a position in a new research project related to human
shape and pose estimation. Knowledge in optimization, regression, and
classification as well as a strong programming background in (particularly in C++),
About us: The Computer Vision Group is a dynamic, international team. Established
in 2006, we are creating Toshiba's core computer vision technology while carrying
out basic research in close collaboration with the University of Cambridge. Scientific
publication of your work will be encouraged. Our research areas include 3D
reconstruction, object recognition, and modelling humans.
