Description: The goal of the project is to develop predictive models of a crowd in video that will enable recognition of complex behaviors in crowded scenes as well as temporal event prediction.
This post-doc position fits within the research theme of automatic understanding of dynamic scenes currently pursued in WILLOW. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual that will enjoy working in a lively international research team.
Application Instructions: The candidates are expected to hold a Phd in computer vision with a strong publication record in the top computer vision conferences (CVPR/ECCV/ICCV) and journals (IJCV/PAMI). A solid background in video analysis will be a definite plus. Candidates are invited to contact Ivan Laptev or Josef Sivic . All research is conducted in English. Knowledge of French is not required.
