For our Dallas Research & Development operations, we are seeking an employee to
support our Research team.

Task profile:
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in machine learning and/or
computer vision who have experiences in the following areas:
- Deep learning
- Random forests
- Convolutional neural networks (CNNs)
- Support vector machines (SVMs)
- Object detection, recognition and pose estimation
- Excellent programming skills in C++
- Nice to have: Matlab
- Innovate, invent or implement algorithms and approaches to advance Machine Learning and Computer vision.
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations, prototypes and demos
- Contribute to Metaio's IP portfolio with patent applications
- Publish and present your work at top-tier international conferences and in journal articles

- PhD/Master’s degrees in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Strong knowledge in Machine learning and a working knowledge of computer vision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly scientific writing
- Preferably experience in writing technical papers for conferences or journals
- Very good English language skills
- Analytic and strategic abilities
- High motivation and personal engagement
- High flexibility and team spirit
