| Title: Postdoc - **Subtle / Malice / Deception** Recognition | Posted: February 13, 2015 | Company/Institution: MMU | Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia | Description: We have 2 postdoc positions as part of our recently funded project worth over RM1million,
a highly challenging project involving counterparts from the UK and Switzerland.
Basically we are looking for candidates who have experience in doing research relevant to computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, signal processing, etc; these will form the basic foundation.
The problem we're focussing on is to recognize subtleness in humans; for instance, subtle emotions, subtle motion. These have far-reaching applications, including deception detection.
The appointed candidate will join the current project team which spans two professors, four academics, one research fellow and two postgraduate students, who are recently concentrating on spatio-temporal subtleness-based feature extraction.
The positions are for 1.5 years. Interested candidates are to email your CVs including list of best 3 publications to Prof. Raphael Phan at raphael@mmu.edu.my
