Description: The Center for Vision, Cognition, Learning and Art (VCLA) at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) [http://vcla.stat.ucla.edu] has 2 postdoctoral Researcher positions open. The successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary research team for projects in some of the following areas:
  1. Scene understanding (reasoning and parsing);
  2. Event understanding in video (action, intent and causality);
  3. Theory of learning (hierarchical representations); or
  4. Bi-modal learning from vision and natural language.

Qualifications:
  1. Ph.D (received or completing) degree in the areas of CVPR, Machine Learning, AI;
  2. Outstanding publication records in top journals and conferences;
  3. Strong programming skills in VC++, Matlab;
  4. Capability of system integration will be a plus. (/li>
