The Cooperative Medianet Innovation Center (CMIC) was jointly established in 2012 by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in cooperation with Peking University and some other core collaborative units from government agency and industry. CMIC is one of the 38 collaborative innovation centers of the "2011 Project" under the category of industry. The center combines talent cultivation, discipline construction, technology and development with industrial application and aims to meet the national needs in advanced technological development in the area of digital media. The Cooperative Medianet Innovation Center, invites applications from outstanding candidates for multiple full-time positions at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank. We are seeking applicants to conduct research in any one of the following areas.

  • Data Mining/Machine Learning
  • Computer Vision
  • Media Design & Interaction
  • Network Engineering
  • Media Transmission
  • Media Services & Applications

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Digital Media or a closely related field, and an ongoing research program. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of potential for interdisciplinary collaborative research. Compensation and research funding are internationally competitive and commensurate with qualifications and accomplishments.
