Job Description:

The Lead Algorithm Architect will set matching algorithm strategy, define matcher architecture and lead the team in implementation of the design. Leading by example will drive emphasis in the evaluation of all image matching techniques including latest thinking and published research towards concepts deriving high match scores with small, degraded, blurred or noisy images.

The Lead Algorithm Architect will also play a key role in the Biometrics Product Division to define future roadmap products and contribute to the vision of expanding our authentication business into multi-mode authentication solutions and alternative biometrics for authentication.

Job Requirements:

•PhD in EE/CS

•Expert in Computer Vision: knowledge of fingerprint image processing and matching, face detection and matching, active presence detection and tracking algorithms preferred.

•Expert in biometric authentication.

•Prior hands on experience of building system and architecting real world products.

•Experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, regression is a plus.

•Experience in de-blurring and computational photography a plus.

•Fluency in developing code in C/C++ as well as Matlab is a must.

•Experience in porting it to embedded systems and optimizing code for such platforms is desirable.

•Good record of publication of research paper/patents, with strong communication skills.

•Works well within a multi-discipline development environment

•Thinks outside the box, strategic and creative

•Will actively push to take advantage of leading edge concepts and technologies

•Will be respected by his team

•Solid communication skills, both oral and written
