This position involves a variety of tasks and responsibilities and is suited towards a system-level thinker with a broad engineering background and analytical thought process. The position will be responsible for developing optimization strategies that can be deployed worldwide to create expert level performance across many customer projects. Areas of responsibility include some or all of the following: systems engineering, ASIC specification and design, embedded firmware, signal processing, algorithm development, hardware development, system simulation and behavioral modeling. Expect to also be involved in significant hands-on development, measurements, data collection and analysis and data collection automation.
We are seeking a team-oriented individual with excellent problem solving skills who is self-driven with a keen technical mind and an eye for detail. He or she must be effective in a fast-paced, demanding, highly technical R&D team environment.
Summary of Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Applied Mathematics
-MS or PhD in related field or similar experience is also desirable
-Strength in system theory and electronics, both analog and digital
-Rigorous and methodical approach to problem solving
-Hands-on design, bring-up, test and debug skills
-Sense of ownership of and pride in one’s work
