Our team works on HoloLens is looking to bridge the latest advances in machine learning and computer vision to build on top of the environment understanding platform work we've been building. As a software engineer on our team you will be responsible in helping design, implement and optimize the evolution of our environment understanding components. If you are someone that knows that perfect algorithmic implementations don't automatically equate to experiences that users are going to love, we want to talk to you.
What you'll do:
- Turn promising machine learning and vision research into fully functional products.
- Take on dynamic and highly ambiguous problems.
Collaborate across disciplines from engineering to research and design.
Learn new technologies and put them into practice right away.
What you'll need:
5-6 years of relevant software design and development experience preferably on shipped consumer products or platforms
A love for technical problem solving and debugging
Ability to communicate effectively, both in person and in the written form
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Bonus points if you have experience in any of the following (or a passion to learn more about):
Practical experience with machine learning algorithms (Decision Trees, DNNs, SVMs etc.)
Experience with algorithms, mathematics, or statistics
Experience working on data driven problems
Experience writing performance-critical code or SIMD processor extensions (e.g. SSE/AVX/NEON)
Background in computer vision, image processing, video processing, or computational photography
