We are seeking an exceptional scientist to join Abdominal Imaging and Interventions Research at UCLA and help create, develop and evaluate new algorithms for big data analyses. The researcher will maintain and exploit large clinical databases to transform Oncologic imaging and Interventions using machine learning and computer vision. The candidate will be encouraged to publish in high-impact journals and given the opportunity to collaborate with renowned international teams.
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Neuroscience, or any related field.
- Strong programming skills.
- Basic system administration and database maintenance in a heterogeneous computing environment (Mac, Linux, and Windows).
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in MR imaging , shell scripting, configuration of local networks, and computational fluid dynamic simulations.
Starting date is flexible but a commitment of at least two years is required.
