Applicants must hold or be about to receive a Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering. Successful candidates will typically have ranked at or near the top of their classes and be highly proficient in written and spoken English. Very good C++ programming skills and a mathematical background are required. Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge in at least two or more of the following topics: machine learning, pattern recognition, probability theory, computer vision, computer graphics, or GPU programming.
The appointment will be in accordance with the German salary standards (TVöD).
