Description: Applicants are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position (i.e. a postdoc) in UCL Attention and Cognitive Control laboratory at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, supervised by Prof Nilli Lavie. The project is funded by Jaguar Land Rover as part of the new program (jointly with the EPSRC) to develop fully autonomous cars.

The research will involve a combination of modeling and video recognition techniques together with behavioural and physiological measures of attention and perception during partly autonomous driving.
The position is funded for up to 4 years in the first instance, and available to start immediately.
Applicants should hold or expect shortly to hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and have strong computational modeling skills. Publications in leading peer reviewed conferences and/or Journals are essential as are strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning is highly desirable.
