Description: Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Lab (PRMI Lab) in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) was founded in the spring of 2010 by Prof. Hong Cheng. Our group has about 50 members, including 8 faculties, 10+ Ph.D students, and about 30 master students. Please visit the lab webpage to know more. Now PRMI Lab has an opening for postdoctoral fellow in computer vision and machine learning.
The successful candidates will be expected to
(1)hold Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. The background on computer vision, machine learning, optimization, is preferred.
(2)possess good communication and writing ability in English.
(3)be able to conduct research independently.
(4)have at least one high-level publication record in the top conferences (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NIPS, ICRA et al.) or journals (such as IEEE trans. et al.) of the field.
UESTC is one of the 39 elite research-intensive universities in China, called “Project 985” Universities, which gain special fundings from Chinese Government. UESCT is located at Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Chengdu is a fastest developing city, and is one of the most suitable living cities also.
