The successful candidate will have the opportunity to perform cutting-edge research on retinal fundus image analyses and understanding.
Prospective applicants should hold a PhD in computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition or machine learning, and should have a strong research record as evidenced from prior publications in top-rank journals and conferences.
Successful applicants will join the computational ophthalmology research group at UCSD seeking scientific excellence in the area of learning and visual computing, and will be submerged into an "interdisciplinary" environment with computer scientists, medical experts and research fellows.
