Description: The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join an internationally recognised and highly motivated team of researchers and will contribute to the EPSRC project 'Multisource audio-visual production from user-generated content'.
The successful candidate should have a PhD or equivalent in computer science/electronic engineering or related discipline and have experience covering the full range of duties required for the post. The post holder must have significant experience in multimedia signal processing, with further expertise working with audio, video, or multichannel signals preferred. Excellent experience in audiovisual signal analysis, in audiovisual production, source localisation and/or computer vision is highly desirable. Applicants must also have excellent technical, programming, communication and team working skills.
The post is full time for 18 months, starting from 1st December 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. Starting salary will be in the range of
