In 2006 metaio released the first browser plug-in for web-based AR applications and shortly thereafter, launched the first fully integrated AR app for mobile devices and the first print/web campaign followed by the release of the mobile AR browser junaio. In 2011, metaio won the ISMAR Tracking Competition for the worlds first mobile 3-D tracking solution. Job Description : Presently we are looking to hire Computer Vision interns for the Dallas office for Spring and Summer of 2014. This person will work mainly in the research and development of key AR technologies, running on embedded platforms.
Application Instructions: Ideal candidates will be pursuing a Ph.D in an appropriate technical discipline, and the following: 1. Background in 2D and 3D vision technologies, specifically in rigid/non-rigid object tracking, SLAM, sensor fusion, 3D reconstruction and mutli-view geometry etc 2. A strong team player; self-motivated and able to work independently 3. Willing to face and take ownership of challenges 4. Solid programming experience in Matlab/C/C++; embedded experience is preferred 5.
