Description: An excellent client of mine is looking to further expand their high-achieving R&D team by bringing on a Tech Lead Research Scientist into their group.
They are looking for someone from a research-heavy background who also holds key industry experience in working on products. Thus, said candidate will have a pragmatic approach to research and this is a key factor in the eyes of my client. Whilst innovation is paramount to my client’s successes, they need someone to own technical leadership on projects and guide the team’s work in a direction that satisfies both the research and the business elements.
*It is imperative that applicants have experience in managing/leading projects in an industrial setting*
The successful candidate will also possess strong communication skills that allow them to interface with executive level colleagues but also convey technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to people who are non-technical.
In terms of skill-set, this candidate will come from a background that contains a few of the below:
- 3D Reconstruction
- Point Clouds
- 3D Geometry / Multi-View Geometry
- Structure from Motion
- Pose Estimation
This candidate will also have an efficient and logical approach to coding/engineering.
