Description: The Reality Capture and Processing group located in downtown Berkeley is responsible for the collection and processing of Nokia's street level and aerial map data. We are seeking talented individuals to join our LiDAR and Image Processing team to help us improve our map product. The candidate will work on one or more of the following areas:
- Geometry extraction and meshing from street level LiDAR
- Object detection from street level imagery and LiDAR data
- Automated image quality assessment methods for aerial and street level imagery
- Seamless mosaicking and consistent multi-resolution aerial imagery generation
- Depth map generation from oblique aerial imagery

Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or related fields
- Knowledge in computer vision, machine learning and computer graphics
- Experience with:
* C/C++
* Python
* Matlab (optional)
