Description: You'll be a PhD student, working on the semantic analysis of 3D data. A duration of 4 yrs is guaranteed, to complete a PhD thesis. This should also be your goal. We're looking for candidates with an engineering (EE,CS), physics, or mathematics background and with programming skills (C++). You should have a genuine interest in 3D and cultural heritage. You'll work with the Leuven team as well as the junior and senior researchers of the ITN-DCH (training network on the digitisation of cultural heritage). With this position comes the possibility to stay at several major European universities and to work on common digitisation projects.
