Description: Imaging Biomarkers and Computer-Aided Diagnosis Lab at the Radiology and Imaging Science Department of the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center is actively looking for several candidates for summer internships. Desirable candidates will have an especially keen attitude and interest in computer vision and medical image analysis.
You will have the opportunity to work with outstanding scientists and world-renowned clinicians to tackle some key questions in clinical image processing. The positions are located at the National Institutes of Health's headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. NIH is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Eligibility: The openings are only for US citizens or Permanent Residents.
Education: Ph.D or experienced M.S. students in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field.
Background: Good analytical and mathematical skills; Knowledge in image analysis, computer vision and medical image analysis is a plus
Programming skills: Above-average knowledge of C++ and Matlab is expected.
Duration of internship: 10~12 weeks
