Description: Toshiba Research is looking for a researcher to join its Computer Vision Group.
Required: You have a PhD in computer vision, machine learning or a related area, a solid theoretical background and a strong international publication record. You are able to try out and implement new ideas and you are a proficient programmer. Post-doc or industrial experience is also welcome.
Research Areas: We are particularly interested in these areas:
(1) 3D human body modelling: pose & shape estimation, 3D non-rigid registration.
(2) 3D reconstruction: visual SLAM, multi-view stereo, photometric stereo, semantic segmentation.
About us: The CRL Computer Vision Group is a young international and dynamic team. Established in 2006, we are creating Toshiba's core computer vision technology while carrying out basic research in close collaboration with the University of Cambridge. We are working on a number of areas of industrial relevance, including the areas of 3D reconstruction, recognition, and modelling humans. We provide a friendly and open research environment and encourage scientific publication.
